Description:
Savant is vulnerable to a buffer overflow in the handling of overly long URL requests. By sending a URL request of 291 or more characters to the Web server, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and cause the Web server to crash or execute arbitrary code on the system with privileges of the Web server process.
