Description:
A vulnerability in the ixj telephony card driver in Linux kernel could allow a local attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system. It may be possible for an attacker to exploit this vulnerability to gain root privileges.

Upgrade to the latest stable version of the Linux kernel (2.4.19 or later), available from the Linux Kernel Web site. See References.
