Bugzilla process_bug.cgi script cross-site scripting

Description:
Bugzilla is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper filtering of user-supplied input by the process_bug.cgi script. A remote attacker could embed malicious script within various Bugzilla form fields, which would be executed in the victim's Web browser in the security context of the hosting site, once the form is submitted.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Bugzilla (2.14 or later), as listed in Bugzilla Security Advisory dated August 30th, 2001. See References.

Upgrade to the latest version of Bugzilla (2.14-1 or later), as listed in RHSA-2001:107-07. See References.
