Description:
Yahoo! Messenger could allow a remote attacker with a Yahoo! Messenger account to add an unauthorized user to a victim's buddy list. If a remote attacker sends a message with the unauthorized user account and the victim responds, the attacker could obtain sensitive information from the reply, such as the victim's IP address.

It has been reported that Yahoo! has changed its Yahoo! Messenger server infrastructure to protect against this vulnerability.
