CUPS strncat() options buffer overflow

cups-strncat-options-bo (10910) The risk level is classified as HighHigh Risk

Description:

The Common Unix Printing System (CUPS) is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking of the options string by the strncat() function. By sending a print job with an overly long "options" string, a remote or local attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with root privileges.
