CUPS filters/image-gif.c improperly checks zero width GIF images
| cups-zero-width-images (10911) |
Description:
The Common Unix Printing System (CUPS) could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by improper validation of zero width images by the filters/images-gif.c file. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by modifying the chunk headers of a GIF image, which would allow the attacker to execute code on the system, once the image is processed.
