Middleman net_dns() off-by-one buffer overflow

Description:
Middleman is vulnerable to a buffer overflow caused by an off-by-one error in the net_dns() function. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by using a malicious hostname to execute arbitrary code on the system with root privileges or cause the Middleman server to crash.
