Apache HTTP Server is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a vulnerability in the ap_directory_walk function. By sending an HTTP GET request for a DOS device name to the Web server, a remote attacker could cause the system to crash.

Upgrade to the latest version of Apache HTTP Server (2.0.44 or later), available from the Apache HTTP Server Project Web site. See References.
