Description:

HP-UX rs.F3000 could allow a local attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by a vulnerability in the /usr/lib/X11/Xserver/ucode/screens/hp/rs.F3000 program, which provides support for Freedom series graphics devices on the X Window System. A local attacker could use the rs.F3000 program to gain unauthorized access to the daemon account, and possibly cause a denial of service on the system.
