Description:
HP-UX is vulnerable to buffer overflows in the /usr/sbin/landiag and /usr/sbin/lanadmin programs, which are Local Area Network (LAN) diagnostic and administration programs. A local attacker could exploit these buffer overflows to execute arbitrary code on the system with elevated privileges.
