Description:

CryptoBuddy could allow a local attacker to obtain sensitive information. CryptoBuddy fails to properly use the user-supplied password to encrypt files and stores the password in an encrypted file in a predictable location. A local attacker could exploit this vulnerability by accessing the encrypted file and modifying the password, which would allow the attacker to use the password to decrypt the contents of the file to obtain sensitive information.
