Description:
Nokia is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a format string vulnerability when processing multiple part vCards. A vCard is an electronic business card used as an extension to the SMS (Short Message Service) receiver. A remote attacker could supply malicious format strings to the affected phone using the vCard fields, which would cause the phone to lock up or automatically restart, or cause the SMS Receiver handler to crash, once the vCard is processed.
