cdrtools scsiopen.c file format string attack

Description:
cdrtools (formerly cdrecord) is vulnerable to a format string attack in the scsiopen.c file of the cdrecord program. The cdrecord program is installed setuid root on some Linux distributions. A local attacker could exploit this vulnerability by using the dev parameter to gain unauthorized root privileges and execute arbitrary code on the system.
