Description:

Multiple Cisco routers running Cisco Internetwork Operating System Software (IOS) with the Service Assurance Agent (SAA) (formerly known as Response Time Report (RTR)) enabled, are vulnerable to a denial of service. By sending a malformed SAA packet, a remote attacker can cause the router to crash.

Upgrade to one of the fixed versions of Cisco IOS, as listed below. Contact Cisco Technical Support for information on obtaining an upgrade. See References.
