Geeklog non-existent session ID could allow attacker to bypass authentication

Description:
Geeklog could allow a remote attacker to bypass a validation check in the lib-sessions.php authentication script. By supplying a non-existent session ID, a remote attacker can bypass this check and cause the specified session ID to be entered into the database.
Platforms Affected:
- Geeklog, Geeklog 1.3.7sr1 and prior
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Geeklog (1.3.7.sr2 or later), available from the Geeklog Web page. See References.
