Description:
Geeklog fails to properly validate extensions for uploaded image files. A remote attacker could upload a file containing embedded script in the image, which would allow the attacker to execute commands on the server, once the file is requested.
Platforms Affected:
- Geeklog, Geeklog 1.3.7sr1 and prior
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Geeklog (1.3.7.sr2 or later), available from the Geeklog Web page. See References.
