Description:

SmartFTP is vulnerable to a heap buffer overflow. By sending an overly long file list (over 0x5000 bytes) in a reply to the LIST command issued by a SmartFTP client, a remote attacker in control of a malicious FTP server could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on a victim's system with privileges of the SmartFTP process.
