Mailtraq directory traversal

Description:
Mailtraq could allow a remote attacker to traverse directories on the Web server. A remote attacker could send a specially-crafted HTTP request to traverse directories and view arbitrary files and directories on the Web server, including the "conuration" or the users directory, which may store user passwords using a weak encryption algorithm.
Note: The vendor reports that if Mailtraq is installed using the default configuration on a standard system, it is not affected by this vulnerability.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Mailtraq (2.3.2.1419 or later), available from the Mailtraq Web site. See References.
