Mailtraq SMTP commands denial of service

Description:
Mailtraq is vulnerable to a denial of service. By establishing an SMTP connection and issuing the 'HELO', 'MAIL FROM', 'RCPT TO' or 'FROM' command followed by a specially-crafted string, a remote attacker can cause the server to consume 100% of the available CPU resources, which would result in a denial of service for legitimate users.

Upgrade to the latest version of Mailtraq (2.3.2.1419 or later), available from the Mailtraq Web site. See References.
