Roger Wilco partial packet sent to recv function denial of service

Description:
Roger Wilco is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by a vulnerability in the recv function. The recv function will not return a value if the packet lacks necessary information. By sending a specially-crafted partial packet, a remote attacker can cause the server to hang, which would deny service to legitimate users.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Roger Wilco (1.4.1.2 or later), available from the gamespy Web site. See References.
