Description:
DSPAM could allow a local attacker to gain elevated privileges, caused by insecure permissions. DSPAM allows users to change the delivery agent and quarantine agents using the command line. This could allow a local attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system.
Platforms Affected:
- Nuclear Elephant, DSPAM 2.6.5
- Nuclear Elephant, DSPAM 2.6.5.1
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of DSPAM (2.6.5.2 or later), available from the Nuclear Elephant Web site. See References.
