Description:
The webfs HTTP server is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow. A remote attacker, with the ability to create Web-accessible directories on the server, could send an overly long pathname to overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.

For Debian GNU/Linux:
Upgrade to the latest webfs package, as listed below. Refer to DSA 392-1 for more information. See References.
Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 (woody): 1.17.2 or later
For other distributions:
