GuppY cross-site scripting

Description:
GuppY is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper filtering of user-supplied input. A remote attacker could post a message or send a specially-crafted URL containing malicious script, which would be executed in the victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting site, once the message is viewed or the link is clicked.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of GuppY (2.4p4 or later), available from the GuppY Web site. See References.
