Description:
Oracle9i Database Server is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow in the oracle and oracleO binaries. By passing a long string to the LD_PRELOAD environment variable, a local attacker could overflow a buffer and cause a segmentation fault and execute arbitrary code on the system with privileges of the Oracle user.
