Description:

Apple Mac OS X is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by a buffer overflow. A local or remote attacker could supply a long command line argument to overflow a buffer and cause the system to crash.

Upgrade to the latest version of Mac OS X (10.3 or later), available from the Apple Computer, Inc. Web site. See References.
