Description:
The BEA Tuxedo administration console, as used in Tuxedo and WebLogic Enterprise products, could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by improper validation of startup arguments. By issuing the PATH argument multiple times with a different path value each time, a remote attacker could determine if the file exists.

Remedy:
For Tuxedo 8.1:
Apply Rolling Patch 62 or later for this vulnerability, as listed in BEA Systems Inc. SECURITY ADVISORY (BEA03-38.00). See References.
For all other releases:
Upgrade to the latest version of Tuxedo (8.1 or later) or contact BEA Customer Support, as listed in BEA Systems Inc. SECURITY ADVISORY (BEA03-38.00). See References.
