Description:

SHOUTcast Server, when running on Windows platforms, is vulnerable to a denial of service. By sending a long string to the server using the vulnerable icy-name or icy-url parameter, a remote attacker with a valid password could overflow a buffer and cause the SHOUTcast Server to crash.

Platforms Affected:

  • Nullsoft, SHOUTcast Server 1.9.2
