Description:

Microsoft Internet Explorer could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by improper validation of the path when content is bound to a XML document. A remote attacker could create a Web page that exploits this vulnerability and post it on a Web site or send it within an HTML email, which would allow the attacker to view known files on the local system, once the victim views the Web page.
