Mambo Site Server regglobals.php modify configuration variables

Description:
Mambo Site Server could allow a remote attacker to modify configuration variables, such as FILES, ENV, GET, POST, COOKIE, SERVER and SESSION, caused by a vulnerability in the regglobals.php script. If register_globals is disabled, a remote attacker can modify configuration variables using the banners.php, pollBooth.php, upload.php, usermenu.php or userpage.php scripts, which contain the regglobals.php script.

Remedy:
Apply patch 2, which requires that patch 1 is installed, available from Mambo Site Server Web site. See References.
