Gaim directIM packet heap overflow

Description:

Gaim is vulnerable to a heap overflow, caused when allocating memory for a directIM packet. DirectIM is a client-to-client protocol. A remote attacker can supply a specially-crafted payload length to allocate a zero-length buffer, which may allow the attacker to overwrite memory and possibly execute arbitrary code on the system.
