GNU Libtool creates insecure temporary directory
| libtool-insecure-temp-directory (15017) |
Description:
GNU Libtool creates insecure temporary files, which could allow a local attacker to launch a symlink attack. When packages using Libtool are compiled, a temporary directory is created without properly checking for an already existing directory of the same name. A local attacker can exploit this vulnerability to obtain elevated privileges on the system.

File Manipulation
