Libxml2 nanoftp buffer overflow
| libxml2-nanoftp-bo (15302) |
Description:
Libxml2 is vulnerable to a buffer overflow in the nanoftp module, caused by improper bounds checking of user-supplied input. By sending a specially-crafted URL request containing more than 4096 bytes, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and possibly execute arbitrary code on the system.
