Microsoft Internet Explorer Perfect Nav plugin denial of service

Description:
Microsoft Internet Explorer is vulnerable to a denial of service, if the Perfect Nav plugin is installed. Perfect Nav is a search plugin and is a Browser Helper Object (BHO) that loads whenever Internet Explorer starts. The utility downloads and executes arbitrary code on a victim's system as an update feature, without the victim's knowledge. A remote attacker could create a specially-crafted URL, which would cause the victim's Web browser to crash, once the link is clicked. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by hosting the malicious Web page on a Web site or by sending it to a victim as an HTML email.
