Description:

GdkPixbuf is a freely available image loading library used with the GNOME GUI desktop environment for Linux operating systems. Multiple applications, such as Evolution, are vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a vulnerability in GdkPixbuf versions prior to 0.20. By sending a specially-crafted bitmap file, a remote attacker could cause a vulnerable application to crash, once the bitmap image is viewed.

Upgrade to the latest version of GdkPixbuf (0.20 or later), available from the GdkPixbuf Web page. See References.
