cPanel resetpass section allows execution of commands

Description:
cPanel could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system, caused by a vulnerability in the "Allow cPanel users to reset their password via email" feature in the WebHostManager. A remote attacker could supply shell meta characters to the user parameter in the resetpass section, allowing the attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system with root privileges.
