Description:
oftpd is vulnerable to a denial of service. By establishing a Telnet connection to port 21 and issuing a PORT command following by a port number higher than 255, a remote attacker could cause the FTP server to crash.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of oftpd, (0.3.7 or later), available from the oftpd Web page. See References.

Upgrade to the latest version of oftpd (0.3.7 or later), as listed in GLSA 200403-08. See References.

Upgrade to the latest version of oftpd (0.3.6-6 or later), as listed in DSA-473-1. See References.
