sharutils shar utility buffer overflow

Description:
The sharutils package, included with many Linux distributions, is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow in the shar utility, caused by improper bounds checking. A local attacker could supply a long string to the '-o' command-line option to overflow a buffer and possibly execute arbitrary code on the system.
