Cisco PIX remote file exposure through included Web server

Description:
The Cisco PIX Firewall product could allow an attacker to obtain sensitive information. Cisco PIX firewall manager (PFM) on Windows NT could allow a remote attacker to read any file on the system.
Platforms Affected:
- Cisco, PIX Firewall 4.1(6)
- Cisco, PIX Firewall 4.2(1)
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of PIX Firewall Manager (4.1 (6B) or later) or PIX Firewall Manager (4.2(2) or later), as listed in Cisco Systems Field Notice, September 2, 1998. See References.
NOTE: If unable to upgrade, then restrict access to the PFM server on (port 8080) to only allow trusted hosts.
