Description:
Fastream NETFile Server is vulnerable to a denial of service. By sending nonexistant USER and PASS values to the vulnerable FTP server, a remote attacker could cause a denial of service.
Platforms Affected:
- Fastream, Fastream NETFile Server 6.5.1.980
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Fastream NETFile Server (6.5.1.981 or later), available from the Fastream NETFile Server Web site. See References.
