Description:
libpng is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a vulnerability in the error handling routine. By creating a specially-crafted PNG image file, a remote attacker could cause the program to crash, once libpng handles the malicious file.

Upgrade to the latest libpng package (1.0.12-3.woody.5 or later), as listed in DSA 498-1. See References.
