Description:

Ultraseek could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information. If a remote attacker requests a document on the Web server with a device name included, the server returns an error message that includes the path to the Web directory on the server.

Platforms Affected:

  • Sun, Solaris 7.0
  • Ultraseek, Ultraseek 5.2.1 and prior

Remedy:

Upgrade to the latest version of Ultraseek (5.2.2 or later), available from the Ultraseek Web site. See References.
