Description:
Very Secure File Transfer Protocol Daemon (vsftpd) is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by an error in handling many connects and disconnects. A remote attacker could use this vulnerability to cause a denial of service.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of vsftpd (1.2.2 or later) available from the vsftpd Web site. See references.
