Description:
jftpgw is vulnerable to a format string attack. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by passing a specially-crafted string containing a format specifier to the log function, allowing the attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system with privileges of the victim.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of jftpgw (0.13.4 or later), available from the jftpgw Web site. See References.
For Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 (woody):
Upgrade to the latest jftpgw package (0.13.1-1 or later), as listed in DSA-510-1. See References.
For other distributions:
