SquirrelMail From header cross-site scripting
| squirrelmail-from-header-xss (16285) |
Description:
SquirrelMail is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper filtering of user-supplied input. A remote attacker could send a specially-crafted email containing malicious code in 'From' header lines, which would be executed in the victim¿s Web browser, once the message is viewed. An attacker could use this vulnerability to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.
