Description:
InterBase is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by a vulnerability when handling database names. If a remote attacker connects to the database, the attacker could send a specially-crafted database name to overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
Platforms Affected:
- Borland, InterBase 7.1
