Microsoft ISA Server Web Proxy redirect denial of service

Description:
Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server are vulnerable to a denial of service attack against the Web Proxy service. Microsoft ISA Server could improperly handle an HTTP redirect action and fail to include the NULL terminating byte when copying the redirect into a temporary buffer. A remote attacker could create a specially-crafted URL, which would cause the Web Proxy service to crash, once the link is clicked.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version Service Pack for Microsoft ISA Server (SP2 or later), as listed in Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 816460. See References.
