Description:
SUP (Software Upgrade Protocol) is vulnerable to a format string attack, caused by vulnerabilities in the ogquit, logerr and loginfo functions. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system with privileges of the supfilesrv process.

Upgrade to the latest sup package (1.8-8woody2 or later), as listed in DSA 521-1. See References.
