Description:

GNU Radius (Remote Authentication Dial In User Service) is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by improper handling of SNMP packets. If the Radius server was compiled with the '-enable-snmp' option, a remote attacker could send a specially-crafted SNMP packet containing an invalid OID to cause radiusd to crash.

Upgrade to the latest version of GNU Radius (1.2 or later), available from the GNU Radius Web page. See References.
