Description:

SqWebMail is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by a vulnerability in the print_header_uc function. A remote attacker could send a specially-crafted email containing malicious code, which would be executed in the victim¿s Web browser, once the message is viewed.

Upgrade to the latest version of SqWebMail (4.0.5 or later), available from the SqWebMail Web site. See References.

For Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 (alias woody):
Upgrade to the latest SqWebMail package (0.37.3-2.5. or later), as listed in DSA-533-1. See References.

For Gentoo Linux:
Upgrade to the latest version of SqWebMail (0.45.6.20040618 or later), as listed in GLSA 200408-02. See References.

For other distributions:
Contact your vendor for upgrade or patch information.
