Mozilla XPInstall/Security dialog box code execution
| mozilla-dialog-code-execution (16623) |
Description:
Mozilla is an open-source Web browser, developed by the Mozilla project. Mozilla versions prior to 1.7 and Mozilla Firefox versions prior to 0.9 running on Microsoft Windows could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system. By creating a specially-crafted Web page that entices a user to perform specific actions, a remote attacker could cause the victim to download malicious programs via the XPInstall/Security dialog box without the victim's knowledge.
